Recycle Kerala

The "Recycle Kerala" initiative by the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) in Kerala was a campaign to collect recyclable waste from households and sell it to raise funds for disaster relief, particularly the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund (CMDRF). Launched in May 2020, the drive collected various items like newspapers, plastic, and electronic waste, eventually raising over ₹10 crore, which was donated to help rebuild Kerala.
