Mawazo

Mawazo literally means “ideas” and is taken from Swahili. This African word signifies the importance of indigenous ideas that have the potential to transform the global south both socially and economically. In recent years, Kerala’s startup landscape has evolved tremendously, creating a need for a platform where young innovators can creatively engage with this ecosystem. DYFI, as a socially committed organization with dedicated activists across Kerala, plays a vital role in this process. Mawazo is more than a festival; it is a movement designed to inspire innovation for social causes and foster the entrepreneurial spirit among Kerala’s youth.
